Holland dressed in Orange for my arrival... Oh, not for me?
Oh yes, World Cup has Holland gripped in Orange Fever!
Hup, Holland, Hup!
:)
No Baby, yet! She is back under the care of her midwife and we are patiently waiting for nature to take its course--
In the meantime we are making the best of our time together: resting, preparing and having fun.
My niece is so happy to have me around which puts my sis at ease.
Not much stitching going on. But I did manage to make a few Klosjes in the plane, using my handy dandy dental floss to cut threads!
:)
Lovely pictures! Are you sure Holland didn't dress in Orange for your arrival......??!!!! ;)))
ReplyDeleteLovely to see you and your sister in the picture!
It shows it will not be long for the baby to come!
Hope everything turns out very well and it is great for you both to be together!
Big hug!!
So glad you made it there in time! I'm worrying about the parcel I sent to you there.....any sign of it? Michele
ReplyDeleteGood to hear from you Valentina. Glad that your sis is doing well. Let us know the news when it happens. Enjoy orange and good luck with the game.

How do you cut thread with dental floss? And why?
ReplyDeleteThe excitement mounts! Lots of fun girl time while you wait! At least you didn't lose your treasured sewing scissor to the airport inspectors! I swear they claim they'll mail them back to you...but really must run a black market in sewing supplies from all the quliters who forget! ;-)))) Lots of hugs and prayers going out to Holland!
ReplyDeleteOhhhValentina, ik zie de koeien in de wei, Hollandser kanhaast niet, veel Hollandser dan oranje......en wat heb je mooie hexjes gemaakt je logje hieronder!
ReplyDeletegroetjes, jeannet
Praying for your Sis!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a good idea to use the floss dispenser to cut your sewing thread! Airlines are very strict about sharp objects being carried onto the plane nowdays and rightly so. I have a Clover pendant cutter, which doesnt seem to break the rules.
ReplyDeleteLovely photo of you and your sister, i wish her all the best with the birth of her new baby XX
Thanks for posting pics of Holland. What a beautiful country! So glad you're having some time with your niece and sister before the excitement begins. :-) Looks like you are making the most of it!
Marjan
Hope baby arrives soon. She is obviously very snug where she is. Enjoy the time and glad you managed a bit of sewing.

ReplyDeleteGood morning Valentina,
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your klosjes, well done on the plane; I tried to, but I get sick :-(
Your sister's baby keeps us waiting, but the good thing is that you and her can spend some 'normal' time together.
Wish your sister and her family well!

Erg he!)
ReplyDeleteHi Valentina! How is your sister doing? Any news today? She must be so ready to see this little one into the world. Enjoy your time with her and your little niece. Glad you can take some time to do a little patchwork...
