walking and waiting

Going for walks with my niece seems to be the most wonderful highlight of this trip so far. As we are still waiting for her baby sister, it feels like such a wonderful way of spending our time.

I cannot get over the vibrant greens, the water... and birdsong.

What nourishment for the soul...

(Yet, I'm crossing my fingers that sweet baby arrives soon... but then once again, Nature is the master, and knowd better than we do).

  6. It's always good to slow down. And just enjoy the nature and all it gives to you. Mother Nature knows when the time is right for everything.

  7. Tell your sister to clean the bath, I guarantee that will get things moving. Poor things. The waiting is the hardest part. Hope the little lady arrives soon. Meanwhile enjoy the sunshine and scenery.Thinking of you all.

My Patchwork Family Through Adoption

A Bit of Africa and China
Came knocking on our door
And in a home where there was longing
Now empty rooms no more

Like a Quilt of Many Colours
Our Family stitched together into One
God's Love and Grace for us Abundant
In the Miracle of our Sons
