8 klosjes and a quick Hello!

Hello, my friends! How are you?
(Please, Tell me you are also in disbelief that November is nearly over, and that we are only 4 weeks away from Christmas! Yeay!/Yikes!)

8 more Klosjes joined the gang this week making my total 472. And I still haven't had a chance to calculate my grand total, so I will happily keep Klosjing along for now... I just don't feel I have the mental capacity left for anything 'grand' at this moment...
:)
But there is good news on the quilty-front: This week I have (finally!) settled on a setting for my Spotty Dotty Potluck hexi-flowers. It has taken a LOOOOONG time, but I am so happy and relieved that I waited for the right setting to come along!  ...it seems there are advantages to patient procrastination!
:)
This will be a project to be continued next spring.

Also: The Pinwheel quilt is done! I had a lot of fun working on it this week and rushed to send it off in time to be professionally machine-quilted by my friend Irene. Can't wait to show you when it comes back!

I am wishing you all a lovely weekend, with some fun holiday prep with a sprinkle of stitching!
:)

...or stitching with a sprinkle of fairy-dust that gets the house and home prepped for the holidays... and the kids in bed...
would you believe me if I told you I started this post at least 12 hours ago?!
Oh, joy!

  1. Hi!!! Your klosjes are so cute - make me want to make some more myself...but I'm determined not to become sidetracked again!! That's a pretty lovely 'sneak peak' at the hexie-flowers sitting beside the klosjes too. Very nice all round I say. Have a great weekend yourself with a nice sprinkling of stitching...what a neat thought!!! Raewyn xox

  5. Always enjoy another peek at your klosjes, Valentina. Wonderful that you've figured out how to set your hexies. I can't wait to see. You will show us a picture of the pinwheel quilt when you get it back, won't you?

  6. It sure does seem like time is flying faster and faster these days. The ongoing projects + the holiday decorating and gift planning are already overwhelming me. But today was one of those well balanced days where I got housework, errands and a little quilting done...all in the same day?! So I'm thankful for days like this and wishing some come your way too!

  8. You are doing so well on the klosjes that I've promised myself that I'll get going on mine again real soon. I can't believe where the months go and luckily I don't have much organising to do in the coming weeks.

  9. Fairy Dust in LARGE quantities Please.

I can relate to 12 hrs to finish a post. There is always a story or snack that needs attention first.

Like your klosjes and spotty dotty tease.

Hope you find some time to stitch.
    Huggs Terry
